This 23 year-old painter creates some stunning pieces of Art!

Dilsha Suthan(23), is a post-graduate student in Hindustan College of Arts & Science, Coimbatore, who also moonlights as a freelance artist. With over a year of experience in the field, this self-supporting young Studentpreneur is making her parents Mr.Suthan and Mrs.Rema Suthan super proud. Being born to a middle-class family in Kerala, she didn’t have many opportunities to study Art.

She was overwhelmingly interested in color, texture, shape, and line ever since she was a child. She says there never was a single textbook or notebook without her scribbles in it. Even though there were not many opportunities given to her for studying Art, she never stopped herself from trying. This young artist worked doggedly day and night to improve her works. During her initial days as a painter, she used to do works for free to her friends and relatives. She started receiving works from public, after posting her works on Social Media. Later on, recognizing the value of her art she started to charge her clients.

Now, this Self-taught artist can do wonders in almost all the art mediums and sells her artworks through her Instagram profile @dilsha_suthan which has nearly 10,000 followers. Dilsha says, “Nothing is Impossible in life. When something turns hard in life, don’t stay back instead strive hard for it and Success will follow. For me drawing is involuntary and now since it has turned into my source of income, it is more special for me!” Dilsha now does commission paintings, digital art, pencil sketches, and wall arts. This young painter has also done wall paintings for a bunch of Cafes.
